Simply put, the tanner's table is where cured animal skins are transformed into useable products, including shoes, belts, and scabbards, or further treated, layered, and hardened as part of the armor craft process. The tanner's table includes all manner of sewing, cutting, and leather-punching tools. Compared to the regular Tanner's Table , the Improved Tanner's Table has double crafting speed, 20 additional inventory slots, and twice the durability. I'm trying to make Thick Hide from hide and twine but the wiki says its a tier 2 recipe. How do I unlock higher tier recipes at the station? Do I just need a better thrall?

Ran-san November 4,am 2. With the new Tanner's Workbench, if you use an armorer as the crafter, the bench gives you the recipe for 'Stitch'.

Now that Tanners have a recipe-based bench as well, it if anything makes more sense for them to have these recipes than Armorers…. Most of the Thrall exclusive recipes have just been added to the new tables. Why not just get rid of the whole concept of thrall unique recipes and put the remaining few right into the standard recipe list. Especially when it comes to recipes that are simply processing one ingredient into another? Less so black and white dye, various exotic foods, etc. Yes and that give us a reason to keep colecting, like the old armor thralls, the rest of the thralls you only needed one and you had it al. Same whit the realy old thralls that had a big variation on ther lock and armors to colect, was always a reasom to come back to cityhubbs back then.

When you reach a certain level in Conan Exiles, you have to get steel and search for items to make steel bars.

If they are not showing up for you, something else is going on. I don't see the recipie for silk, hard leather, and one other thing that Narelle put in a screenshot. Hardened leather can be done in the tanners table! Even so the leather part worked now I am really disappointed by some other aspects of the update.
