Deeproot Depths is an underground region in Elden Ring. An enormous cavern at the roots of the Erdtreedeeproot depths, which is the source of the Ainsel and Siofra rivers.

Deeproot Depths is one of five secret underground portions of the map in Elden Ring. These depths can be hard to access to if you don't know who to talk to or what hidden wall to punch, but once in you'll find new armor, incantations, bosses, and more. We've put together a basic guide on how to traverse the Deeproot Depths and get to the end, no dilly-dallying attached. All important boss fights and loot will be listed at the bottom. This location is strongly tied to Fia's personal sidequest , and although you can access it without the speaking to her at Roundtable Hold to begin the quest line, it's recommended.

Deeproot Depths is a larger underground region and hybrid dungeon found in the Leyndell Region in Elden Ring. It is an optional underground area slightly more linear than the overworld, but keeps many of its core mechanics - such as fast travel and the restoration of flasks upon defeating enemy groups persist whilst underground. From the Site of Grace, head southwest and you can platform with Torrent up the tree roots to reach a corpse facing east holding a Smithing Stone 6. To the southeast, you'll note an Erdtree Avatar patrolling. Now head northwest past the tree roots to find a slope and a branch that is guarded by two Winged Ants.

Other than those, there's no compelling reason to be here.

Roll into the southeastern wall to reveal a hidden passage with a chest, and roll into the wall behind the chest to reveal yet another hidden passage and the Root-Facing Cliffs grace. Head west from this Site of Grace and right off the bat you'll encounter an Erdtree Avatar.
