Eaglet Lake is a medium size lake east of Prince George, roughly 40 km from the city. It is close to the Willow and Fraser Rivers, and supports a diversity of fish species. In the spring and autumn, the lake has a good rainbow trout fishery, and is also popular for fishing burbot. Try trolling for burbot just off the bottom with a small spoon. Burbot tend to lurk under rocks, amid roots, and in holes in banks. If you are spending the night, you may want to use a set line.
