While the guard's first night goes very smoothly, their second night takes a turn for the worse as its revealed that the animatronic Springtrap, actually an undead William Afton, has been moved to the attraction and is attempting to kill them. They are also plagued by apparent hallucinations of "Phantom Animatronics" that cause their machinery to malfunction when they jumpscare them.
