Fortnite is back with a new in-game event, this time with a winter theme, to celebrate the festive season. The new Fortnite 'Winter Festival' will be made available starting this week, and with it comes a whole new batch of content for gamers to get their hands on. As seen in previous years, the Winter Festival will bring new content for Fortnite fans to enjoy throughout the Christmas period as there will be no new updates during the holidays. It is not yet known if the Winter Festival will have any effect on the three new modes introduced during Chapter 5, Season 1: Fortnite Festival, Rocket Racing and Lego Fortnite , although it would be logical to think they will introduce small changes to the map to include the Christmas update. This schedule is yet to be confirmed by Epic Games, the developers of Fortnite. But taking the last events as a reference, it is expected that the company will launch the update at this time.
