The Logitech G29 is one of the most used wheels in sim racing so F1 23 players will be anxious to get their wheel settings right as soon as possible. Here are our recommendations. With greatly improved physics, F1 23 is sure to provide a totally different feeling to its predecessor. But with this simple guide, you should be able to nail your Logitech G29 wheel settings by F1 23 release day. Before we get going, remember that wheel settings are similar to car setups.

However, as mentioned previously, the difference between G29 and G is based on which of these consoles the wheel is compatible with. The first step, before even plugging the wheel into the PC is to make sure that you have both the power and pedal connectors plugged into the wheelbase. This is important as without power the force feedback function will not be engaged. Once this is done, attach the wheel and pedals to your driving rig or desk setup. One thing to note is on the bottom of the pedals there is a rotable grip pad that can be used on carpet to avoid the pedals slipping during use. This piece of software is where you will be able to adjust the general settings of the wheel and update any needed drivers.

F1 23 plays great with a wheel, once it is configured properly. The default force feedback for the Logitech G29 and G is too strong, making the wheel very loud with overly aggressive vibration effects. Like its predecessors, it's easy to fix the force feedback by adjusting a few settings. Apparently the force feedback system has been upgraded this year. Honestly, it's not dramatically different, but you don't feel the understeer much at all anymore. It's very easy to jump right in if you've played any of the F1 games before.

The Assetto Corsa Competizione force feedback can be underwhelming. For beginners in the sim racing arena, the Logitech G29 is a brilliant entry-level wheel to start with. This beginner-friendly ethos means the G29 occupies a large portion of the sim racing market. Ask a racer what wheel they use, and the most likely answer will be this Logitech creation. With that in mind, many racers on Assetto Corsa Competizione will have this wheel. It is also necessary to perfect the in-software settings.
