You decide the height of the headboard since it needs to be mounted to the wall. Easy to bring home since the headboard is divided into two pieces. May be completed with FIXA stick-on floor protectors to protect the underlying surface against wear. The headboard must be fixed to the wall with the enclosed wall fastener. Different wall materials require different types of fasteners. Use fasteners suitable for the walls in your home. Mattress width: 63 ".

The drawers only my only concern because my girls are teens and might not be careful. My wife and I are not large by any ikea nordli, and we ended up needing to construct a center support ourselves to resolve this issue. You decide the height of the headboard since it needs to be mounted to the wall.

Kinza Hi Everyone, This bed has been a space saver for our master bedroom. However, this bed has special size slats, ones in which cannot be sold separately. Not sure why the bed frame is about 3 inches wider than a queen-sized mattress, all of the pictures on the website show the mattress as the same width of the bed frame. At IKEA, we work with strict industry standards to promote responsible forestry. We know our way around this stuff. It looks clean, beautiful and is so functional - We love the 6 storage drawers and the sturdiness of the frame. In the future we will either be putting more slats to stabilized our mattress so they don't bend or getting some particle board. May be completed with FIXA stick-on floor protectors to protect the underlying surface against wear. If the frame is out of its one year warranty then you are out of luck and must go find an outside solution. Step 20 on Page 15 is the reason I will never recommend this product to other people. We used a circle saw. Very pleased with this platform king size 5.

Do you have some Ikea Nordli units and want to make the most of them?

I chose this collection from IKEA because everything is modular. Storage with the drawers and the headboard we purchased separately has storage too. Also, a fun feature is that all the drawers are soft-close! The difference between various types of fiberboards, such as HDF and MDF, is mainly the thickness, yet also how impact-resistant they are.
