Kovu is a former Outsider lionlater a member of Simba's pridethe mate of Kiara, and the future king of the Pride Lands. He is the second-born son of Zira, the younger brother of Nuka and Vitanithe son-in-law of Simba and Nalathe grandson-in-law of MufasaSarabiand Sarafina, and also the brother-in-law of Kion.
