It was supposed to be easy; get in and get out. It should have been a bridge between books 4 and 5 focusing on the Fire Kingdom and Knox's lost brothers.

Although he isn't seen much in this book, what parts he is involved in are mind blowing are heart-shattering. It left me struggling to figure out her next move before she made it. Yet both versions are the Goddess of Magic and by incorporating the fae chronicles, you are, by default, referencing the other Hecate and confusing readers. I would rather wait twice as long for the book and get it actually edited. But, I was honestly a bit disappointed with this book. I feel like Aria being edged by Knox for the majority book four. Only saw it once, though. Smooth dude, real smooth. Will she be receiving my therapy bill? I…idk why I keep doing this to myself. If this was book 4. Brander doesn't have what it takes to be King - What was he doing the last couple of books when he was, you know, being King by proxy sure, but still King. Aria and Hecate just talk each other to death! It was supposed to be easy; get in and get out.
