Rather than continue to pursue a policy of isolation, as had been the custom of the Inhumans for centuries, Medusa decided to open up a bazaar just outside the actual city, to allow for outside visitors and tourists mostly from Manhattan to visit, without the need of a visa, and to trade and buy things from Inhuman vendors. Maximus ordered Medusa to hand it over, but since Medusa understood that Maximus had no intention to give up on the throne, she threw it against a wall to shatter it, much to Maximus' anger.
