Masteries are special skills that can aid the Hero in battle. You can choose your first titan quest masteries when your Hero reaches level 2, and your second mastery at level 8. Titan Quest assigns your character a class as soon as you choose a skill mastery, which indicates your talents. To fully understand how to effectively make a character and maximize the effectiveness of all classes, you need to analyze both masteries, and the skills they offer, then choose skills that synergize well with each other in terms of the types of damage dealt, offensive buffs to increase that damage and enemy debuffs to reduce enemy resistances, and other skills for both defensive and offensive purposes. You gain 2 Attribute Points per level, and gain a few here and there through various quests, giving you a total of Attribute Points to spend if you complete all three difficulties and do all related Side Quests. Health is pretty straight forward. How much you gain depends on which Skill Trees you have, and I have listed them in the table below, along with other Attributes. You will also gain permanent Health bonuses from completing quests for a total of if you complete all 3 difficulties. In this section of the website we will have a Mastery guide for each one of the 10 Masteries of the game, Runes Mastery from Ragnarok dlc and extra Level 40 skills of Atlantis dlc included. The guides will come in due time so make sure to check back often for updates. A detail to remember is that all of these guides will be in both text form and video form. Each one will provide a link to a video for those who would like to watch a video guide instead of reading a text. Finally, a few masteries already exist in the form of videos as i made those years ago and here you will find them also in text form but keep in mind that in their text form, a couple of mistakes made by me in those videos have been corrected and they also include the skills from Atlantis that do not exist in those videos.

Without high quality gear with top resistances all classes are only the running target in some boss fights. Circle of Power can help increase vitality damage, casting speed, and reduce recharge and energy costs. Berserker: Both masteries use the ability to dual wield, so max both the Dual Wielding tree and Reckless Offense for the increased damage. But Merriam-Wester's online site likewise seems to have the same take as my old college dictionary that I still have. Death Ward is good for survivability when your health gets low. Spell Break and Spell Shock, while useful for any class, get the best damage with the class against creatures with high energy reserves. Dragon Hunter: It's better to make this class with elemental damage in mind since Rune Weapon with Transmute converts a portion of physical damage to physical and thus it can reduce the piercing damage of your weapons. If you want them, Traps can also be useful.

Level 10, just hit the large port city that starts with an "M", but I haven't had too much trouble. This is one of the best petmaster builds in the game. Since shields count as weapons, a portion of your physical damage with them is converted to elemental with Transmutation. Eruption and the Volcanic Orb tree are great spells because they inflict both fire and physical damage. Rune: While there are options for melee and ranged combat as well as spellcasting, this mastery focuses primarily on elemental damage. Why a pet? Use the buffs to strengthen defense and potions.
