Shinji hirako
Some powers within the Bleach series are simply just too dangerous, too powerful or too unpredictable to be used in the presence of others. However, Shinji Hirako's Bankai is banned in the entirety of the Soul Society due to the immense danger it poses to any caught within its indiscriminate sphere, shinji hirako. Because of their location and the situation Shinji finds himself in, he isn't allowed to do shinji hirako.
Unofficially the former leader of the Visored and the current Captain of the 5th Division in Bleach , Shinji Hirako is one of the greatest assets to the Gotei 13 and Soul Society as a whole. Known for his snide, sarcastic, and unfiltered persona, as well as his impeccable strength as a Shinigami, Shinji is one of a select few in the Gotei 13 who can transcend the limits of a Shinigami and acquire the powers of a Hollow. This was in part due to his involvement in the Hollowfication Incident, orchestrated by his former Lieutenant Sosuke Aizen. Praised for his power, charisma, and tactical acumen, he naturally grew into the role of leading the Visored, who offered vital aid to Ichigo Kurosaki and their former comrades in the Gotei 13, during their victory over Aizen and his Arrancar in the Battle of Fake Karakura Town. Besides his raw strength and proficiency at the various combat skills practiced by Shinigami in Bleach , Shinji also possesses a few unique abilities stemming from his Zanpakuto and Hollow mask, which put him in a league of his own. But how strong is he exactly?

His lieutenant is Momo Hinamori. He also served as a recruiter and the de facto leader of the Visored. While Momo Hinamori informs him that the Twelfth Division assured them that everything is under control in that area, Shinji is unconvinced. Knowing how dangerous Grimmjow is, Shinji heads out there himself and tells Momo to inform the Captain-Commander about his decision. As Shinji is hurrying towards the battle happening in the Rukongai, he curses Mayuri for allowing the events to escalate so much. Suddenly, he senses another Reiatsu heading towards the fight as well. Recognizing it as more similar to a Visored 's Reiatsu than that of a Shinigami , Shinji heads toward it only to find an unfamiliar childlike Shinigami. The child recognizes Shinji as a Gotei 13 captain, and gleefully introduces themselves as Hikone Ubuginu. While Shinji is relieved the child is not hostile, he is still on guard because of the strange and massive Reiatsu Hikone is emitting. Suspicious, Shinji subtly asks Hikone who they work for, as they are not wearing a Gotei 13 insignia, and Hikone answers that they are the retainer of Tokinada Tsunayashiro. As Shinji shifts the conversation to the battles happening at their mutual destination, he is shocked to hear Hikone not only knows the Arrancar fighting there, but has even fought them before in Hueco Mundo when trying to become the realm's king.
Shinji asked Aizen what Hollowfication is, but Aizen refused to speak on it any further.
No recent wiki edits to this page. In this time a younger and seemingly innocent Aizen serves as his lieutenant. Though he is a captain Shinji would often show behavior that is childish and immature for a man of his age and ranking. This is especially seen during his confrontations with the 12th division lieutenant Hiyori Sarugaki. Shinji often being attacked by her in random and numerous situations, and though his own lieutenant believes his captain should be more responsible he never is. Though Aizen was his subordinate
In a recent Bleach episode, specifically in episode 16 of the Thousand-Year Blood War arc episode in the overall Bleach series , one of the captains of Gotei 13, Shinji Hirako, finally unleashed his bankai. Shinji is one of the new faces within the captain rank, therefore this is the first time we have ever seen his Bankai. While the appearance is not that exuberant, or even memorable for that matter, it certainly has one of the most interesting abilities compared to the other bankai. As the name suggests, Sakasema no Sekai has the ability to create an Inverted World. However, rather than reshaping the real world, this is actually an ability that can affect the perception of living beings around the user. When activated, Sakasema no Sekai will release a colorless and odorless scent that will affect those who are unfortunate enough to breathe-in the scent. Those affected by the scent will perceive the inverted world where up is down, front is back, right is left, so on and so forth. The enemies that attack from the front are actually coming from the back, while the slash that appears to cut the right arm is actually harming the left arm. It is practically impossible to get used to this sensory overload while in the middle of an intense fight.

When donning his Hollow mask, Shinji's sclera turn completely black, and his irises become grey. Ichigo questions how Shinji knows all this, but Shinji simply says that Ichigo is right and speeding up teaching him Hollowfication might be better for him. Stating that he can try, Shinji admits that they are guaranteed to lose if Tokinada can mimic his Bankai. After all, when an attack can engulf an entire area, then things like front or back, left or right, enemies or allies, becomes practically meaningless. The Hollowfied Shinigami were sentenced to execution as Hollows. The two are then interrupted by the arrival of Orihime and Chad, who were searching for Shinji. Shinji then tells Ichigo that Hiyori's exercise machine is the basis of his future training as they decide the level of his future training will be determined by how long he can keep going while using it. This was in part due to his involvement in the Hollowfication Incident, orchestrated by his former Lieutenant Sosuke Aizen. Aizen then explains that trusting someone means relying on them and only the weak do that, therefore it's not something that they need. It inverts an opponent's sense of direction causing the directions of up and down, left and right as well as forward and backward becoming the opposite.
Hirako Shinji is the Visored that Bleach fans are the best acquainted with; however, viewers who have only joined the gang in the Thousand Year Blood War may be in the dark about the significance of these Shinigami-hybrids.
As Unohana walks away, Shinji tells her that he owes her one and the captain says she does not require thanks for saving the lives of her allies, to which Shinji remarks that they are not. Shinji commented to Hachi that he was impressed that he used a level 99 binding spell without the incantation. Recognizing it as more similar to a Visored 's Reiatsu than that of a Shinigami , Shinji heads toward it only to find an unfamiliar childlike Shinigami. While attempting to recruit Ichigo, he wears a standard Karakura school uniform, though he usually wears trousers, shirt and tie, often supplemented by a newsboy cap and long-coat. Shinji and the rest of the Visored later arrive at the Fake Karakura Town, just when Aizen and his forces begin to gain the upper hand and confronts the latter with his usual grin. The next day, Urahara and Tessai were arrested under the orders of the Central But he assures Ichigo that since he passed the test, they will pound the "Hollow Suppression Technique" right into the core of his very soul. Ichigo grabs Shinji and pulls him outside so that they can talk. At times giving advice that showed the wisdom worthy of a captain. Shinji goes to cut Aizen down but Tosen intervenes.
