Ark survival beacons

Normal drops, ark survival beacons, cave crates, boss loot, beaver dams… whatever you want to change. Plus support for custom loot drops, such as those provided by mod maps or not officially supported by Ark.

A Beacon in ARK: Survival Evolved is a colored beam of light which marks the location of a supply crate that slowly descends from the sky. The color of the beacon indicates the level required to access the contents of the crate, as well as the quality of its contents. Each crate contains an apparently random selection of offerings such as raw resources, weapons, building components, or blueprints , with higher-level beacons generally containing more valuable blueprints and loot. Beacons and their associated supply crates look alien in nature, with weird flashing light around the outside, and their source is unknown. Beacons are one of the ways to get higher-level items and blueprints, such as Ramshackle, Apprentice, Journeyman, Mastercraft and Ascendant level items. In the sea, special Deep Sea Loot Crates can be found which contain only one high quality item.

When you jump into a server on ARK: Survival Evolved you will notice beams of light that shine into the sky everywhere you travel across the map. These can be indicative of either a Beacon or an Obelisk, but what is the difference between them? They share some qualities, but otherwise are very different from one another in terms of their uses. These strange areas perform different tasks and if you want to take your gameplay to the next level then you should understand how to properly utilize them. Beacons and Obelisks are an important part of ARK: Survival Evolved and knowing what they are will put you one step closer to being a Grade A survivor! A Beacon is also known as a Supply Crate and it is marked by a colored beam of light, which is why beginners can't tell the difference between this and an Obelisk. The various colored crates hold different items , including things like resources, blueprints, building supplies, and weapons. There is no guarantee as to what item you will receive , but the Beacons do spawn in set locations. The Beacon will go through a process of landing before you can loot the crate that it holds. You will see a web of lights at the top and an object slowly descending within the beam of light. Once it reaches the ground the web of lights will disappear and the crate is able to be looted. However, they can despawn after a set amount of time at which point the light will disappear. You should also remember not to stand beneath the Beacon as doing so can push you through the ground in a glitch. While these do carry incredible loot, you should be careful when going after these on PVP servers as it often leads to fights with others.

Item quantities for food and ammo are high enough to be useful.

Supply crates Beacons , or Rifts as some people call them, are large crystals of different colors that drop from the sky and can be opened upon reaching certain level milestones. The color of the drop indicates what level you must be in order to open the crate. They can also hold blueprints which will allow you to save your EP for other engrams. Each supply crate will start as a small, spherical storm in the sky with a colored beam reaching towards the ground. This gives you a signal as to where the supply crate will land relative to your location.

For example, player and dino movement speed will be capped by default, but there will be a configuration option to turn it back on. This confirmed difference alone means that there would have to be some sort of separation between Ark: Survival Evolved and Ark: Survival Ascended. The good news is that the existence of the option at all is a good indicator that ASA will still have plenty of configuration options. As Beacon grows, my plan is to add support for more non-Ark games. However, I don't think it would be fair to raise the price of Beacon Omni every time a new game is added, since not all users will use Beacon for every game it supports. I'm also introducing some other pricing model changes in the interest of keeping Beacon maintainable. Beacon Omni will be moving to an update plan model. This is similar to a subscription, and I'm sure some people will call it a subscription, but it's not exactly the same thing. In an update plan pricing model, you purchase a license to the current version of the software, as well as any updates that are released over a period of time. When your update plan expires, you still have full access to the licensed software.
